Director of Production | Medical Device Manufacturing
We're looking for an experienced manufacturing leader to take ownership of end-to-end production for an innovative medical device company entering its next phase of growth.
You'll oversee a large, precision machine shop, a cleanroom assembly area, and multiple specialised processes - bringing structure, planning, and alignment across teams. The role is both strategic and operational: setting up systems, improving flow, and building the foundation for reliable, scalable manufacturing.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead daily production across machining, metrology, and cleanroom assembly.
- Implement production planning, scheduling, and inventory management tools.
- Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to ensure smooth operations.
- Develop and refine processes to support ISO 13485 and regulatory standards.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team of technicians and engineers.
What we're looking for:
- Strong background in medical devices, precision manufacturing, or advanced engineering environments.
- Solid understanding of machining processes, cleanroom assembly, and quality systems.
- Experience in a growing or fast-moving environment where structure is still being built.
- A hands-on leader who can bridge technical detail and big-picture planning.
- Engineering or manufacturing background (mechanical preferred).
This is a chance to shape how production operates in a company doing meaningful, technically complex work.
