Our priority is to make sure we hire safe drivers that care about the service provided to the community. As a Spare Driver with us the minimum responsibilities are:
Drive to customer locations for pickup, and position truck safely to ensure a safe lift.
Ensure customer satisfaction through reliable service.
Dump contents at designated recycling facility or landfill.
Review run sheet listing calls and identify any potential issues.
At beginning of shift, complete a thorough pre-trip inspection.
At end of shift, fuel truck and complete a thorough post-trip inspection.
Document any concerns to be checked by mechanic and complete VCR.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience with a clean abstract.
Roll-Off and/or Front-End Loader experience preferred.
Class 3 or higher driver's license.
Excellent spatial skills to position vehicle and bins effectively and drive accident free.
Effective communication skills to convey information to dispatcher and customers.
Knowledge of the area is a strong asset.
Physically mobile: able to climb in and out of truck.
Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug test.
