As the company continues to scale, we remain a small, driven team looking for a Financial Operations Manager (AP/AR & Cash Flow) who can take ownership of our payables, receivables, and cash flow functions to keep the business agile, efficient, and strategically aligned for growth.

Position Summary:

The Financial Controller will oversee all aspects of Moev's financial operations: managing payables, receivables, cash flow forecasting, and vendor/client relationships. This role bridges strategic financial planning with day-to-day execution, helping the company manage growth while maintaining strong financial discipline.

You'll be responsible for aligning payables with receivables, managing liquidity, negotiating terms with vendors, and ensuring clients stay current on deposits and payments. You'll also provide leadership with accurate financial forecasts and insights to guide decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

Cash Flow & Financial Management

• Develop and maintain detailed cash flow forecasts and reports to guide operational and strategic decisions.
• Align accounts payable and receivable schedules to optimize working capital and liquidity.
• Manage and schedule outgoing payments to ensure optimal use of company funds.
• Provide weekly cash position updates and highlight upcoming gaps or surpluses.

Vendor & Client Relations

• Negotiate payment terms and credit arrangements with vendors and suppliers.
• Work directly with clients to ensure deposit limits and payment timelines are appropriate, reducing cash exposure.
• Foster strong, transparent relationships with suppliers, partners, and clients.

Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee and reconcile accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger transactions.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closings and internal financial reporting.
• Support leadership with profitability, variance, and budget analysis.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Strategic Support

• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning.
• Identify opportunities for financial process improvement and automation.
• Support preparation for financing, investment, or audit processes as required.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial management, or controller-level roles.
• Strong understanding of AP/AR cycles, cash flow forecasting, and vendor management.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online, Stripe, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
• CPA or equivalent designation considered an asset.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Pay: $80,612.23-$120,344.45 per year
