Position Summary
Providing housekeeping duties to assigned areas. Patient transfers and stocking of supplies. Providing support to the nursing staff in emergency situations as required. Contributes to ensuring there is a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
Position Requirements
Previous experience in a janitorial/housekeeping position, preferably in an institutional environment is an asset
OR Attendant or MDRD course is preferred
Must be able to perform duties efficiently under limited supervision
Good understanding of aseptic/sterile techniques
