Sunia Technology Inc. is a leading AI technology company specializing in Intelligent document processing, including handwritten text, drawings, image, and video processing, etc. We're looking for a highly experienced Infrastructure & Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of our hybrid cloud and on-premise architecture, supporting scalable, secure, and data-driven solutions across globally distributed teams.

You'll play a key role in building scalable, secure, and data-driven architectures that power our products end-to-end — from front-end experiences to backend systems and data pipelines.

This role requires a deep understanding of cloud infrastructure, big data architecture, and full-stack ecosystems, with strong technical leadership across engineering teams.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-efficient hybrid infrastructure that integrates on-premise computers and cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Architect and optimize data platforms and big data pipelines, enabling real-time and batch data processing.
  • Lead the infrastructure-as-code (IaC) strategy using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Build and maintain distributed systems for high availability, observability, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration between applications and data systems.
  • Support DevOps, CI/CD, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) initiatives.
  • Guide full-stack architecture design across frontend (React, Vue, or Angular) and backend , Python, or Java) services.
  • Drive security, compliance, and cost optimization across the cloud environment.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to architectural governance, standards, and best practices.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT or software engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior or architect role.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP) — design, deployment, and optimization.
  • Deep understanding of data architecture & processing frameworks:
  • Data pipeline tools: Kafka, Spark, Airflow, Flink, Databricks
  • Data storage & analytics: Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Hive, Delta Lake
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code, automation, and containerization (Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Strong full-stack development experience with backend (Python, , Java) and modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
  • Expertise in networking, monitoring, and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).
  • Excellent communication and technical documentation skills.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Nice to Have

  • Experience building data lake or data platform architecture.
  • Knowledge of MLOps or AI platform design.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust, cloud security, or compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR).
  • Professional certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, GCP Professional Architect).
