Job Description:

A career as an Account Director, Service Delivery at the Client is a job where your ability to work in synergy with your colleagues and partners is highlighted. In this role, you optimize processes and carry out various activities while providing support to portfolio managers.

Client's Independent Network is the first choice for portfolio managers (PMs) and is an account-carrying broker for introducing brokers (IBs) seeking brokerage administrative support. Client provides trading and custody services to GPs and is a carrying broker for OCRI-registered IBs across Canada.

Creating strong partnerships with our customers is paramount to our success.

Your job:

  • Know the structure, procedures and systems used by client and support sectors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients by coordinating efforts with the various internal services and divisions of client and the client.
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service is maintained with our clients by keeping them informed of all new developments, products, and services available in relation to their business needs.
  • Ensure the timely and complete resolution of all customer issues and recommend improvements to policies and procedures with the goal of continually improving our service delivery.
  • Act as a liaison with the various operational areas of client to ensure that tasks are carried out proactively and in a timely manner.
  • Organize regular customer meetings and document ongoing operational and service issues regarding the customer and client, investigate, track and resolve.
  • Provide clients with advice on client policies, procedures and training that directly impact their firm.
  • Provide process improvement recommendations that will improve the overall business relationship with customers.
  • Represent client professionally at client meetings and professional events.

Prerequisites:

  • University degree with at least two years of experience in a brokerage or service role
  • The Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is a must.
  • Knowledge of regulatory aspects of the industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Autonomous and able to work independently and in a team.
  • Highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who demonstrates a positive attitude and can work in a high volume and pace environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Strong oral and written communication skills in French and English
