Assistant Retail Store Manager

Location: St, Langley Twp, BC V3A 6G2

Position Type: Full-Time (40hrs per week)

Schedule: Mon-Fri (days), holidays as needed

Compensation: Competitive hourly wage + employee discounts + benefits

We are looking for a dedicated and energetic Assistant Retail Store Manager to support daily operations and help lead our front-of-house team. If you have a flair for customer service, a knack for leadership, and a love for all things baked, this role is for you

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily retail operations
  • Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Ensure store cleanliness, organization, and merchandising standards are maintained
  • Manage inventory and stock rotation, placing orders as needed
  • Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally
  • Open and close the store, including cash handling and end-of-day procedures
  • Support team scheduling and timekeeping

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in a retail, food service, or hospitality leadership role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • A positive attitude and ability to lead by example
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability for early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Food Safe certification (or willingness to obtain)
