Production Lead Hand – Night Shift

The Job

Lead and coordinate the warehouse/production team to keep operations running efficiently on the night shift (approx. 11pm–8:30am). Support staff, troubleshoot equipment, maintain quality/safety standards, and ensure orders meet delivery timelines.

Must-Haves

  • 3+ years in a Lead Hand or similar leadership role
  • 2+ years in manufacturing (food manufacturing preferred)
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to guide and coach team members
  • Solid computer skills (MS Office; SAP/ERP preferred)
  • Knowledge of OHSA regulations
  • High school diploma (First Aid = bonus)

You Will

  • Assign daily tasks and support performance management
  • Train new and temporary staff to HACCP/GMP/SOP standards
  • Assist with scheduling, line changes, shift start-up, and equipment adjustments
  • Validate tools, materials, coding, and quality checks
  • Handle employee questions and escalate issues as needed
  • Record production, quality, and inventory data (SAP/OEE/Deviation Reporting)
  • Troubleshoot machinery and coordinate with maintenance
  • Act as a floater to support production/packaging/sanitation
  • Promote safety, conduct hazard checks, and complete incident reports
  • Support LEAN initiatives and daily improvement discussions
