Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing engaging lessons, fostering a positive learning environment, and helping students improve their English language skills. Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver effective English lessons tailored to students' age and skill levels
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages active participation and learning
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback
- Prepare teaching materials, activities, and assessments to enhance learning experiences
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum and teaching strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes respect and motivation among students
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of the English language, grammar, and literature
- Experience with tutoring or classroom teaching preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles
- Patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for teaching students of various ages
- Classroom experience is highly desirable for effective classroom management and instructional delivery
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 2 – 20 per week
Work Location: In person
