Overvie

wMechanical Engineer III is responsible for designing and developing robust and innovative medical devices and equipment to support the commercialization of company developed products. The responsibilities include cost estimation, design, verification, and validation. Device and equipment design includes active and passive electromechanical structures and mechanisms with various degrees of freedom

Qualificati**

• ons5+ years of technical product or mechanical device design and manufactur
• ingBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; Masters prefer
• redP.Eng from the EGBC preferred; ability and willingness to obtain a P.Eng license require
• d *Excellent knowledge of and ability to use SolidWorks and SolidWorks add-
• insExperience in all areas of design, prototyping, testing and qualificat
• ionExperience with plastic injection mold tool design including insert molding and over-mold
• ingExperience designing injection molded parts and design for injection mold
• ingProven skills in developing projects in a medical device R&D departm
