Job Title :: React Front End Engineer

Job Location :: Mississauga, ON Hybrid

Mode of hiring :: Full time

Job Description:

This is a migration project. Migrating from Angular to React.

Client wants someone very strong on react who has little experience in Java.

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and high-performance web applications leveraging React for frontend interfaces, for backend services and APIs, and Redis for caching, session management, or real-time data handling.

Architecture Optimization:

  • Contribute to architectural decisions ensuring application scalability, performance, and security.
  • Optimize application performance across the stack, including database queries, API responses, and frontend rendering.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other developers to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver seamless user experiences.

Code Quality & Best Practices:

  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Implement and enforce coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Troubleshooting & Support:

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.

Technical Proficiency:

  • React: Deep understanding of , including hooks, context API, state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX), and performance optimization techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in , including building RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, and working with various frameworks (e.g., , NestJS).
  • Redis: Hands-on experience with Redis for caching, pub/sub, or data persistence.
  • Databases: Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within a team environment.
