Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Program Director for our newest childcare centre in Clairmont, AB. The Program Director will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with the Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations , and lead a team of educators in delivering exceptional early learning programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all provincial regulations, licensing requirements, and Alberta Health & Safety standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and support educators and staff.
- Oversee curriculum planning, program implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Foster an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.
- Maintain strong communication and relationships with families, community partners, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage centre operations, budgets, invoicing and documentation requirements.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be a level 3 Registered Early Childhood Educator
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in licensed childcare.
- Experience with all age groups 0-12 years of age
- Strong knowledge of Alberta Licensing Regulations and Flight Framework.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with families, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification and clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Clairmont, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- leadership experience in licensed childcare: 2 years (preferred)
