Job Description:

Insight Global is hiring on behalf of our client for a
Millwright / Fabrication Project Manager
to lead industrial and commercial construction projects from bid to completion. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on project execution, client engagement, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and execution from pre-bid to closeout.
  • Conduct site evaluations and prepare accurate estimates.
  • Review contract documents and escalate risks to the Director of Operations.
  • Coordinate materials, subcontractors, and field teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules with the Shop/Fabrication Manager.
  • Resolve design and detail issues with stakeholders.
  • Attend preconstruction and project meetings.
  • Track job progress and analyze cost reports for overruns and change order opportunities.
  • Approve invoices and customer billing.
  • Maintain organized project documentation and submit change proposals.
  • Request time extensions as needed per contract requirements.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and uphold service standards.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years
    of experience managing fabrication or millwright projects.
  • Strong background in
    customer-facing roles
    .
  • Proven ability to
    estimate and manage
    self-performed and subcontracted work.
  • Proficient in
    blueprint reading
    and construction software.
  • Solid understanding of
    construction methods
    for industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings.
  • Knowledge of
    cost control
    , vendor management, and project delivery standards.

Compensation:

$70K - $80K per year + full benefits packages

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
