Join our dynamic team as a Spray Foam Insulator and play a vital role in enhancing building efficiency and comfort through expert insulation application. In this energetic position, you will utilize your construction knowledge and hands-on skills to install spray foam insulation on various structures.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces and work areas for spray foam application by cleaning, masking, and setting up equipment
  • Safely and efficiently operate spray foam insulation equipment to apply high-quality insulation materials
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine insulation requirements
  • Use hand and power tools for surface preparation, trimming, caulking, and finishing work
  • Perform quality checks during and after application to ensure proper coverage, adhesion, and performance
  • Maintain all safety standards by wearing required PPE and adhering to applicable regulations at all times
  • Drive and safely operate a spray foam truck to and from job sites
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot spray foam equipment, including proportioners, hoses, guns, pumps, heaters, and pressure/temperature issues
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and ensure all equipment is job-ready daily
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards on the job site and in the truck/rig
  • Communicate job progress, material needs, and any issues to management in a timely manner

Requirements

  • Experience in both residential and light commercial spray foam applications
  • Candidates must have 3–5 years of experience as a Spray Foam Applicator
  • Valid spray foam certification (SPFA / CUFCA or equivalent) preferred
  • Ability to read and follow job specifications, drawings, and work orders
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Physically capable of lifting materials and working in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying weather conditions
  • Be able to work under minimal supervision
  • WHMIS, Fall Protection, and First Aid certifications considered an asset
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of spray foam equipment operation and maintenance.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a focus on safety protocols and quality standards.

Employment Terms

  • 3-month probationary period, followed by a performance review

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
