At AWC Process Solutions Ltd., we specialize in the distribution and integration of industrial process equipment for clients across industries such as water & wastewater, pulp & paper, oil & gas, mining, and chemical processing. Representing premium global manufacturers, we provide pumps, valves, motors, VFDs, and engineered systems.

We're looking for a technically strong, customer focused Technical Inside Sales Representative to join our Inside Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, thrives in a collaborative sales environment, and is excited to make a real impact on customer operations.

What You'll Do

As the first point of contact for many of our clients, you'll be responsible for turning technical inquiries into well-executed solutions. You'll support the outside sales team, collaborate cross-functionally, and ensure customer satisfaction from concept to completion.

Sales Support & Customer Engagement

  • Respond to inbound inquiries with technical recommendations tailored to customer needs
  • Conduct application interviews (e.g., using IMPACT-style methodology) to ensure accurate sizing and system requirements
  • Prepare timely and accurate quotations, proposals, and other sales documentation
  • Process sales orders and coordinate purchasing of parts and equipment from vendors
  • Follow up with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth order delivery

Applications & System Design

  • Size pumps and related rotating equipment using pump curves and technical tools
  • Assist in the development and quoting of customized packaged systems
  • Prepare design documents, drawings, and instructions for order execution
  • Collaborate with vendors and fabrication teams to source components and oversee builds

Order Management & Technical Leadership

  • Support order timelines/expediting while coordinating with clients and internal departments
  • Help resolve technical issues, complaints, and operational challenges

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Technology (e.g., AsCT ) OR 2–5 years of related experience in industrial inside sales or technical applications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

You'll Stand Out If You:

  • Have experience with pumps, valves, or fluid handling systems
  • Can read and interpret engineering drawings 
  • Are familiar with equipment selection tools (e.g., pump configurators, ePrism, etc)
  • Bring experience in project management, fabrication, or packaged system builds
  • Demonstrate initiative in learning and take ownership of customer outcomes
