Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation and cooking, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and safety. This position requires a strong understanding of food handling practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping, slicing, and measuring as per recipe specifications.
  • Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including equipment and utensils.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all guests.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving within a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills for effective teamwork in a busy kitchen setting.
