We are currently looking for enthusiastic movie lovers to join our new theatre as part-time staff members at Garden City Cinemas

This position involves assisting with various aspects of theatre operations to ensure our guests have the best possible movie-going experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling tickets and concession products using the POS system
  • Preparing and serving concession items
  • Providing friendly and efficient customer service
  • Cleaning theatres, washrooms, lobby, and general areas as needed
  • Assisting with stock organization and end-of-day cleaning duties

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Experience using a POS system is an asset
  • Must be available between 11:00 AM and 12:00 AM on weekdays (Monday to Friday)
  • Must be able to work straight 12–13 hour shifts as required
  • Must provide multiple days of weekday availability
  • Must have reliable transportation — cannot rely on public transit for late-night shifts
  • Additional languages such as French, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, or Punjabi are an asset
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and ability to work independently and as part of a team
