Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to read drawings and schematics effectively. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in various welding techniques, including MIG and TIG welding. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for assembling components, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe working environment. Valid drivers license with clean abstract is required.

Duties

  • Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to specifications.
  • Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as plasma cutters, press brake machines, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct rigging operations for lifting heavy materials using cranes or other lifting devices.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while meeting production goals.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various machinery safely.
  • Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, plasma cutting, machining, and assembly techniques.
  • Familiarity with ductwork fabrication is a plus.
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
  • Competence in using calipers for measurements along with basic math skills for calculations.
  • Experience with rigging operations is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.15-$32.00 per hour
