What you get to do:
- Use 'hunter' mentality to establish and grow new business throughout the assigned territory (British Columbia) for the full portfolio of Polyglass products
- Develop relationships with architects, commercial contractors, and distributors
- Leverage contractor relationships by successfully showing a unique value proposition in Polyglass products vs competitor products, resulting in specs being 'flipped'
- Pursue and win spec-driven commercial construction projects
The skills, experience, and success you bring to us:
- 5 or more years of effective new business development in a new or underdeveloped territory within the building materials / commercial construction industry
- An established network within the Western Canadian market and customer base (contractors, distributors, architects) within British Columbia province
- Understanding of technical aspects of commercial roofing and building envelope products
- Experience with sales of the following products is highly desired: commercial roofing, BUR roofing, modified-bitumen, APP, SBS, building envelope, and waterproofing
- Ability to travel 20%-40%
- Valid passport and ability to travel to the United States without restriction
