About Engage Building Products

Engage Building Products is an innovative manufacturer and distributor of architectural aluminum systems, panels, and building envelope products serving the construction industry across North America. We take pride in delivering exceptional quality, precision, and service — from design through to installation.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Engineer to join our Calgary-based operations team. This role is central to coordinating all activities that move our products from raw materials to the end customer — ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality at every stage.

The ideal candidate will bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on operational oversight, optimizing our sourcing, production, and logistics processes to meet growing demand and support our expanding product lines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of the supply chain, from material sourcing to final product delivery.
  • Develop and manage supplier relationships, ensuring cost efficiency, reliability, and quality.
  • Oversee production scheduling to align with demand forecasts and customer delivery timelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels across all facilities, maintaining optimal stock to meet customer needs while minimizing excess.
  • Direct logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Implement demand planning and forecasting processes to enhance accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
  • Coordinate returns management processes to ensure customer satisfaction and operational consistency.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operations, and production teams to align priorities and maintain smooth product flow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain or operations management, preferably in manufacturing or building materials.
  • Strong understanding of procurement, inventory control, and logistics principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics GP, Business Central, or equivalent).
  • Excellent analytical and organizational skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier and partner relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities.

Why Join Engage

  • A collaborative, growth-focused environment with a forward-thinking team.
  • Opportunity to shape and improve key operational systems as we scale.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
