ABOUT THE ROLESeeking an experienced Document Administrator with knowledge of using SharePoint and Bluebeam software (or similar).
RESPONSIBILITIES- Participate in cross-functional teams for efficient project execution.
- Set and meet project commitments.
- Ability to work within an enterprise-wide document repository in SharePoint.
- Ensure that all supportive process workflows and procedures for the SharePoint document repository are available and utilized to maintain efficiency and access for all users.
- Ensure accurate metadata is used to maintain reliable data in SharePoint.
- Recording and tracking of internal and external distribution of project documentation.
- Transferring/receiving project documentation with client systems.
- Responding to internal and or external documentation requests.
- Ensures timely transfer of electronic files to/from clients and 3rd party vendors.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Document Management fundamentals.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work activities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work and contribute individually and as part of a team.
- Establish, maintain, and build healthy internal and client relationships.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Degree, diploma or certificate in administration or other applicable area coupled with 5-10 years of Document Control experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in effective document management, supporting large to intermediate construction projects in the oil and gas industry.
- Hands on experience with SharePoint Administration, working knowledge of workflows, permissions, libraries, metadata, term stores, content data, etc.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to work effectively with all clients, both internal and external.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; Excellent ability to coordinate and prioritize work and meet short deadlines.
