Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Caterer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food safety. This role involves preparing and serving high-quality meals for various events, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. The Caterer will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and food handling.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and client preferences
  • Serve food efficiently and professionally at events or in a restaurant setting
  • Assist with meal planning, portioning, and presentation to ensure appealing presentation
  • Handle food safely, adhering to all health regulations and safety standards
  • Set up and clean up catering areas, including tables, serving stations, and utensils
  • Manage food storage, inventory, and replenishment to ensure freshness and quality
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during events or daily operations
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas in compliance with safety standards

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food service, catering, or restaurant environments
  • Strong skills in serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal presentation
  • Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor
  • Kitchen experience or background in the food industry is preferred
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed
  • Flexibility to work during weekends or evenings if required by event schedules or operational needs
