Overview

Alberta Northwest Palliative Care Society has an extensive history of supporting palliative individuals and their families, with particular focus on volunteer driven initiatives.

We are looking for a Project Manager for the new the Circle of Care Project. This person will lead the planning, delivery, and oversight of our Ministry of Assisted Living and Social Services–funded Circle of Care program. This role ensures activities meet funder guidelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and community needs while fostering innovation and collaboration across multiple sites in Northwest Alberta.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead program planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Manage budgets, reporting, and grant compliance
  • Build strong relationships with funders, partners, and community stakeholders
  • Oversee referrals, volunteer coordination, and training
  • Ensure data management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Nursing, Public Health, Community Development, Project Management, or related field (preferred)
  • 3–5 years' experience managing community-based or grant-funded programs
  • Strong project, financial, and stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
  • Willingness to travel across Northwest Alberta

Working Conditions

Primarily office-based with travel to community sites; occasional evenings/weekends.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00-$85,000.00 per year

Work Location: In person
