Café Plenty is a local Toronto café and catering company known for our fresh, delicious food made from scratch every day. We're looking for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Team Member to join our morning crew.

About the Role:

You'll be part of the team that starts the day right, preparing sandwiches, salads, baked goods, and breakfast items for our café and catering clients. This role is ideal for someone who loves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food with care and consistency.

What You'll Do:

  • Assist with daily food prep (sandwiches, salads, baked goods, breakfast items)
  • Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure quality and consistency
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked
  • Support catering orders and daily café prep
  • Work efficiently as part of a small, friendly team

Schedule:

  • Start time: 4:00 AM (early mornings)
  • Full-time or part-time hours available
  • Weekday and occasional weekend availability required

Who You Are:

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Positive attitude and team-focused mindset
  • Food prep or kitchen experience preferred (but we're happy to train the right person)
  • Food Handler's Certificate is an asset
