Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR)
Location: Mississauga (Hybrid – 4 days/week in office)
Job Type: Full-Time/Hybrid
About DataStealth:
DataStealth is a single, unified data security platform (DSP) that discovers, classifies, and protects sensitive data across your entire environment, from on-premise to legacy cloud to cloud; wherever your data lives or flows, we protect it. We do this without requiring complex integrations or changes to your existing applications, ensuring security that enables, rather than hinders, your business. By seamlessly applying data protection strategies, such as tokenization, we ensure that even if your perimeter is breached, your data remains unusable if it falls into the wrong hands.
Recognized for the fifth consecutive year as a Great Place to Work, we are one of the world's leading and fastest growing cybersecurity software companies. Our team is the best in the business. Our patented technology provides our large enterprise customers with the ability to solve complex data security problems with a paradigm shifting technology that can actually solve problems.
About You:
You're a motivated and tech-savvy sales professional with experience in outbound B2B sales or business development. Ideally within cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, or compliance-driven environments. You bring a security-first mindset and a strong grasp of how modern internet technologies interact, with the ability to communicate technical concepts in a clear, compelling way.
You thrive on engaging senior stakeholders, tailoring outreach to resonate with their specific challenges, and driving meaningful conversations that lead to qualified opportunities. Organized, curious, and data-driven, you take initiative, embrace coaching, and continuously refine your approach to exceed targets in a high-performance, collaborative team setting.
Position Overview:
The BDR – Enterprise is a critical part of our outbound sales engine. You'll play a hands-on role in identifying, connecting with, and qualifying senior decision-makers at large enterprises who face real challenges around data security, privacy, and compliance. Your focus will be on targeted outbound prospecting—using phone, email, LinkedIn, and strategic campaigns—to generate interest and book qualified meetings for our Account Executives
This is a hybrid role with 4 days per week required in our central Mississauga office, allowing for close collaboration, continuous coaching, and access to a high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:

- Use data-driven insights to optimize outreach strategies based on industry, persona, and buying signals.
Lead Qualification
- Conduct discovery calls to assess pain points, project timelines, and budget alignment.
- Understand and articulate DataStealth's value proposition and key differentiators in the security market.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to transition qualified leads and support strategic account development.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain detailed records of all activities, contacts, and engagement in HubSpot and sales engagement platforms.
- Track and report on KPIs, including daily activity metrics, meetings booked, and pipeline influence.
- Provide regular feedback to Marketing and Product teams on prospect objections, messaging effectiveness, and market trends.
Collaboration & Enablement
- Partner with Sales to continuously improve messaging, objection handling, and discovery skills.
- Participate in weekly team sessions, pipeline reviews, and 1:1 coaching sessions with sales leadership.
- Stay current on DataStealth's product roadmap, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
What We're Looking For:
- 1–3 years of experience in outbound B2B sales or business development, preferably in cybersecurity, enterprise SaaS, or compliance-focused solutions.
- Track record of success generating leads and booking meetings with enterprise-level stakeholders.
- Confidence and professionalism in communicating with senior executives across security, IT, and risk functions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex topics into simple, compelling messaging.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and data-driven, with a bias toward action.
- Experience using HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, and other modern sales tools.
