Front Receptionist in Burlington

We are seeking a dedicated, organized and experience Dental Receptionist to join growing clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our dental practice, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical records systems, particularly in a dental setting.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
  • Maintain accurate patient records within electronic medical records systems.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services.
  • Process patient insurance claims and verify coverage details.
  • Assist with billing and payment processing as needed.
  • Ensure the front desk area is organized, clean, and welcoming at all times.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the office.
  • Stay updated on office policies, procedures, and best practices in dental administration.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar front desk role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and administrative procedures relevant to a dental practice.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems; experience with Dentrix is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and staff.
  • Experience handling phone systems and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • A detail-oriented approach with excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate records.

Office hours:

  • Monday to Friday 10am - 7pm
  • Saturday 9-3
