Grill Cook

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Grill Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a strong understanding of food safety practices. As a Grill Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook various grilled items according to menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and surrounding kitchen areas.
• Follow food handling and safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons.
• Assist in meal preparation by chopping, marinating, and seasoning ingredients as needed.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
• Adhere to all health regulations and company policies regarding food service and preparation.

Skills

• Experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food handling practices.
• Ability to operate grill equipment safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with food safety standards within the food industry.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food presentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
• Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to help fellow staff members as needed.
