MAIN DUTIES:

• Coordinate employee work and resolve issues within their scope of authority;
• Escalate to their immediate superior any matters outside their expertise or with medium- or long-term repercussions.
• Train, guide, motivate, and support employees to achieve performance goals and deliver excellent customer service.
• Promote and uphold the company's culture, values, and operational standards.
• Represent the company positively within the community and promote its brand reputation.
• Ensure retail and professional customers receive exceptional customer service.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
• If the concern cannot be resolved immediately, ensure the customer is directed to your immediate supervisor for timely support.
• Ensure lost sales are properly reported and reviewed.
• Support the execution of promotions, sales initiatives, and merchandising strategies with the Store Manager.
• Ensure shelves, displays, and end caps are organized, labelled, and merchandised according to company standards.
• Verify that all product price labels are current, accurate, and properly positioned in alignment with the displayed merchandise.
• Record employees' working hours and send the data to accounting for payroll processing.
• Support staff scheduling to ensure proper coverage during peak hours and seasonal demand
• Review and clear all open and or pending orders in the POS system daily to ensure accurate and up-to-date transaction processing.
• Authorize branch expenses; obtain approval from the Store Manager if the amount exceeds $100.00.
• Monitor adherence to cash handling procedures and audit compliance.
• Ensure all same-day cash invoices are paid.
• Verify using the payment report.
• Ensure the ordering of cash floats, cash register supplies, and credit card system-related materials.
• Oversee the filing of invoices and follow up on any missing invoices.
• Complete all required documentation for financing plans.
• Supervise daily credit verifications and ensure corrections are made as needed.
• Contribute to the correction of inventory quantity errors by completing inventory adjustment forms and forwarding them to the appropriate person.
• Oversee the efficiency of customer back-order processing and sales billing. Collaborate to maintain strong communication between sales and other departments within the company.
• Apply hygiene, health, and safety standards at work in accordance with legal requirements and applicable regulations.
• Ensure employees follow proper safety procedures and maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss performance, challenges, and improvements.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to team members regularly.
• Perform any other related task.
