We're looking for a
bilingual Sales Associate (English/French)
who enjoys connecting with people and creating a welcoming, polished experience for every visitor, from casual walk-ins to experienced collectors. You'll take part in day-to-day gallery operations, assist with exhibitions and events, and help guide clients through the process of discovering and acquiring artworks.

Responsibilities
:

  • Greet and engage visitors, offering an informative and friendly introduction to the gallery and its artists
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and collectors
  • Support the sales process and follow up with potential buyers
  • Assist with exhibition setup, maintenance, and presentation
  • Ensure the gallery is organized and ready to welcome guests each day
  • Participate in openings and special events as a gallery representative

Requirements
:

  • 1–2 years of experience in sales or client service (gallery or luxury retail experience is an asset)
  • Fluent in English and French
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Interest in contemporary art or design
  • Availability for installations, openings, and special events, occasionally outside regular hours

Schedule
: Tuesday to Saturday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Compensation
: Base salary + commission on sales

La Galerie Angelina a ouvert ses portes dans le Vieux-Montréal en 2025 avec la vision de créer une manière plus immersive et engageante de vivre et de collectionner l'art. La galerie allie expositions, événements et collaborations, afin de rendre l'art contemporain plus dynamique, interactif et accessible à un large public.

Nous sommes à la recherche d'un(e)
Associé(e) aux ventes bilingue (anglais/français)
qui aime interagir avec les gens et offrir une expérience accueillante et soignée à chaque visiteur, qu'il s'agisse d'un curieux passant ou de collectionneurs aguerris. Vous participerez aux opérations quotidiennes de la galerie, apporterez votre aide lors des expositions et événements, et accompagnerez les clients dans la découverte et l'acquisition d'œuvres d'art.

Responsabilités :

  • Accueillir et informer les visiteurs. Présenter la galerie et ses artistes de façon claire et conviviale.
  • Développer et entretenir des relations avec les clients et collectionneurs
  • Soutenir le processus de vente et effectuer le suivi auprès des acheteurs potentiels
  • Aider au montage, à l'entretien et à la présentation des expositions
  • Veiller à ce que la galerie soit toujours bien organisée et prête à recevoir les visiteurs
  • Participer aux vernissages et événements spéciaux en tant que représentant(e) de la galerie

Exigences :

  • 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en vente ou service à la clientèle (une expérience en galerie ou dans le commerce de luxe est un atout)
  • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication et souci du détail
  • Intérêt marqué pour l'art contemporain ou le design
  • Disponibilité pour les installations, vernissages et événements spéciaux, à l'occasion en dehors des heures régulières

Horaire
: du mardi au samedi, de 11 h à 18 h

Rémunération
: salaire de base + commission sur les ventes
