Role Description
We are seeking an
Independent Contractor – Business Development Partner
to help us expand into new markets. This is a
commission-only, high-autonomy
role designed for individuals who want ownership, freedom, and long-term upside rather than a traditional employment structure.
As a Business Development Partner, you will take the lead in building your region or vertical from scratch. You choose your strategy, outreach channels, and schedule. We focus on the product; you focus on developing relationships, sourcing opportunities, and generating revenue.
High performers will have the opportunity to

equity and co-founder tracks
as they demonstrate impact.
This is not a standard job — it's a chance to build something meaningful with us and participate directly in the value created.
Compensation Structure
- 50% commission
on all revenue you generate (first 12 months per client) - Unlimited earning potential
- Paid monthly on collected revenue
- No salary, draws, or hourly pay — fully commission-based
- Contractor invoices the company for commissions earned
Independent Contractor Status
This role is intentionally structured as an
Independent Contractor engagement
. The contractor:
- Sets their own hours and workflow
- Chooses their own methods, tools, and outreach strategies
- May work with other clients or companies
- Provides their own equipment and manages their own expenses
- Is responsible for their own taxes, CPP/EI, and business setup
- Is not eligible for employment benefits, vacation, or minimum wage guarantees
We collaborate as partners, not employer–employee.
Qualifications
- Strong ability in
New Business Development
and
Lead Generation - Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to
own a region
and build a book of business - Excellent
Communication
and relationship-building skills - Ability to drive results independently without supervision or set hours
- Experience in B2B sales, partnerships, or consulting is an asset
- Background in tech, SaaS, or growth markets is helpful but not required
- Experience in early-stage environments or startups is a major plus
- No degree required — execution and initiative matter more
