As a Technical Writer, you'll play a key role in transforming complex technical information into clear, accurate, and user-friendly content. Job responsibilities:

Create and Maintain Technical Documentation

Develop and update documentation in accordance with industry standards such as ATA 100, ATA iSpec 2200, S1000D, and AG-006.

Understand complex engineering concepts and reframe them into clear, concise, and user-friendly content.

Ensure Quality and Timely Delivery

Collaborate with team members to ensure deliverables are accurate, on time, and within budget.

Adhere to Sonovision's Quality Management System and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Team Collaboration and Development

Participate in team-building activities and foster a collaborative work environment.

Support the development of internal processes and best practices.

Stay informed about customer feedback and contribute to resolution strategies.

Where do you fit in?

We're looking for candidates who bring a mix of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a passion for clear communication. The ideal candidate will have:

• A sound technical knowledge base in a mechanical, aerospace, electrical field and/or hands-on experience in the aerospace maintenance field and/or significant experience/training in the technical documentation
• Familiarity with S1000D, ATA2200 and/or MIL-SPEC documents.
• Previous use and/or knowledge of Simplified English (preferred but not required)
• Previous use and/or knowledge of SGML/XML (preferred but not required)
• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Adobe FrameMaker, PTC Arbortext Editor, or Quicksilver is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
