Job Opportunity: Retail Sales Associate

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our growing team. In this role, you'll help customers discover the right mobile solutions, drive sales, and deliver an outstanding in-store experience.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement

  • Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend suitable mobile devices and plans.
  • Demonstrate products and answer questions on features, specifications, and pricing.
  • Resolve inquiries and concerns with professionalism.

Sales & Performance

  • Actively promote devices, plans, and accessories to achieve sales goals.
  • Consistently meet or surpass individual and store targets.
  • Upsell and cross-sell products to enhance customer satisfaction and boost revenue.
  • Accurately process transactions using the RQ (IQ Metrix) POS system.

Product Expertise

  • Stay current with Freedom Mobile promotions, devices, and industry trends.
  • Educate customers on product features and value to support confident decision-making.

Store Operations

  • Maintain clean, organized displays and store environment.
  • Monitor inventory and assist with restocking as needed.
  • Support merchandising updates and participate in regular inventory counts.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Retail sales experience is an asset, though not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
  • Basic knowledge of mobile devices and technology.
  • Flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
