Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Server/Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment, with experience in fine dining, nightlife, or banquet settings. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS is preferred, along with strong time management and sales skills. Candidates should have a passion for food safety, food handling, and delivering memorable guest experiences in the food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and take their food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
  • Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
  • Mix and serve alcoholic beverages responsibly as per standard recipes and safety guidelines
  • Manage cash handling, billing, and processing payments efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, bar stations, and dining spaces throughout shifts
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of events such as banquets or catering functions
  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience through attentive service and product knowledge
  • Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring guest satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in food service, restaurant, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly desirable
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS preferred
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and retail math calculations
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to serve alcohol responsibly following all legal regulations
  • Experience in fine dining or hospitality environments is a plus
  • Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or special event shifts as needed
