RFIC ATE Test engineer

Responsibilities

  • Development of RFIC ATE test solutions for NPI and high volume manufacturing.
  • Drive test strategies for improvements of yield, test coverage,quality, test platform conversions and test cost.
  • Lead the successful and efficient transfer of test solutions to manufacturing sites and subcontractors.
  • Act as the technical liaison between internal engineering teams and external vendors.

Required Experience And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in EE, CS, Physics, CE or closely related field with 15 years' experience or MS degree and 12 years' experience
  • Strong background in developing high volume package and wafer probe RFIC solution on ATE platforms.
  • Familiarity in the operation of semiconductor IC handlers and wafer prober.
  • Extensive experience in working with instruments such as power supplies, dc meters, vna, rf signal generators, rf spectrum analyzer , rf tuners and power meters.
  • Knowledge of RF wireless standards such as WiFi, Bluetooth, LTE, etc.
  • Experience in transferring test solutions to offshore manufacturing partners.
  • Familiarity in working in Test Automation using GPIB, USB, LXI etc

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Desired Experience And Skills

  • Extensive experience in developing test solutions on RF PA, LNA, Switches, Couplers and Multiplexers.
  • Experience in working with Cohu RedDragon & Advantest 93K ATE platforms.
  • PCB Design of RF test socket boards and wafer probe card .
  • Programming proficiency in C++, C#,Java,Phyton,etc.
  • Semiconductor ic communication protocols - MIPI, I^2C, 3 wire bus, etc
