Primate Labs, a small (but mighty) software company located in Toronto, is looking for a detail-oriented Mobile Performance Tester to join our team. The Mobile Performance Tester will be responsible for running Primate Labs' software products, including Geekbench and Geekbench AI, on a wide variety of Android devices. This is a great opportunity to work with a broad range of Android products in our mobile test fleet. Our customers are diverse, from individual consumers to Fortune 500 hardware companies, and rely on us to provide applications that produce accurate and unbiased performance assessments.

The ideal candidate will enjoy working independently alongside a small, tight-knit team.

Responsibilities

  • Install and run benchmarks on Android smartphones and tablets.
  • Track and record results across multiple test runs and devices.
  • Follow and maintain the testing protocol to manage multiple devices and products.
  • Communicate issues (including crashes) to the development team.

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed testing protocols.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiar with Android devices.
  • Familiar with command-line tools (preferred).
  • A post-secondary education in any field (preferred).
