ORDER DESK/WAREHOUSE CLERK

We are currently looking to fill the position of Full Time Order Desk /Warehouse Clerk.

Experience on an Order Desk in an industrial setting preferred but not required.

As an Order Desk/Warehouse Clerk your daily tasks will consist of but are not limited to:

· Receive, process and verify incoming (via email, fax or in person)orders/quotes for merchandise or services

· Recommend products to customers that suit their needs

· Assist with showroom displays and equipment by keeping shelves organized, stocked and clean

· Assist customers with loading/unloading merchandise when necessary ( must be able to lift 35lbs repeatedly)

· Will need to demonstrate operational features of products

· Checking stock levels on computer system

· Keeping customers up to date with ETA's on backorders

· Provide alternate products/solutions for out of stock or long lead time items

· Responsible for building strong customer relations

. Pick, Pack and Ship Orders

. Receive merchandise into inventory

The ideal candidate:

· Friendly, organized, confident, positive, motivated team player

· Knowledgeable in construction related products

· Enjoys sales

* Warehouse experience

· A fast learner

* Forklift experience

· Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

· Capable of multi-tasking while providing the best customer service

· Able to maintain a professional appearance

· Pays close attention to detail, accuracy and completeness
