Responsibilities
- Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a welcoming environment.
- Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues for technicians.
- Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services clearly, ensuring customer understanding.
- Prepare work orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines effectively.
- Upsell additional services or products that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions in the shop management system.
Skills
- Proven service advisor experience or automotive repair knowledge is highly desirable.
- Strong mechanical understanding to explain technical issues clearly to customers.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.

- Effective communication skills to convey technical information simply and professionally.
