Candidates with prior Automotive Service Advisor experience, mechanical knowledge, and strong customer service skills will excel in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally upon arrival, establishing a welcoming environment.
  • Listen carefully to customer concerns and accurately document vehicle issues for technicians.
  • Explain recommended repairs and maintenance services clearly, ensuring customer understanding.
  • Prepare work orders, estimate costs, and communicate timelines effectively.
  • Upsell additional services or products that meet customer needs while maintaining integrity.
  • Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of work.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments efficiently.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
  • Maintain detailed records of service history and customer interactions in the shop management system.

Skills

  • Proven service advisor experience or automotive repair knowledge is highly desirable.
