About the Role

We are looking for a Parts Sales Representative to join Ocean Trailer Team reporting to Ocean's Parts Manager. This position is a fulltime permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, in our head office in Delta, BC.

The Parts Sales Rep will be responsible for the sale of parts to our customers in person and over the telephone, as well as inventory assignment of our service department. The successful candidate must possess knowledge of a variety of heavy-duty truck and trailer parts within the transportation industry. Some of the primary duties of the role are as follows:

Primary Duties

  • Inventory control using an in-house computer system
  • Purchasing and processing work orders
  • Warehouse and parts room duties – forklift ticket an asset
  • Job requires someone who can lift up to 50lbs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build a client base
  • Other related duties that may be assigned from time-to-time

About You

  • Grade 12 completion or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a similar role and in the relatable industry
  • Experience using NetSuite an asset
  • Ability to multitask, with good management and organization skills
  • Able to meet deadlines and communicate effectively
  • Good computer skills
  • Ability to be courteous and professional with customers and co-workers, while establishing and maintaining solid relationships
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to make informed decisions and/or suggestions to improve efficiency
