Role Description
This part-time, on-site position is for an Assistant Kitchen Manager at Fine Food Productions in Mississauga, Ontario. The Assistant Kitchen Manager will ensure tenants adhere to food health guidelines and safety standards outlined by Federal and Municipal Health Department regulations while keeping the facility clean and well-maintained. No cooking is involved.
Must have:
- Canadian Citizenship or PR
- Valid Food Handler Certificate
Qualifications
- Related experience or education in the food industry is preferable.
- Understanding of food quality control and safety
- Experience in kitchen management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to details
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to deal with issues and handle stressful situations
Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Tenants Check In/Check Out
- New customers' orientation meetings
- Meetings with the Health Inspector
- Pest Control (internal)
- Facility Safety and Quality Control and Inspection (internal)
- Internal Health Inspections/Audits of existing customers
- Meetings with technicians
- Facility Cleaning
- On-Demand Cleaning Assistance for Tenants
- Equipment issues troubleshooting

Probation Period: 1 month
Training: Training period will be provided during the day/evening hours. You should be able to attend 1 week of training during that time.
Work Hours: Midnight - 8 am (or 1-9 am or 11 pm - 7 am)
Rotating Schedule:
Week 1: 4 days
Week 2: 3 days
Week 3: 4 days
Week 4: 3 days, etc
Pay: $20/hr
