Dilawri Group of Companies is currently looking to fill the position of a Regional Vehicle Buyer - BC
Essential Duties:
- Responsible for prospecting/negotiating/purchasing used inventory at the recommended price.
- Responsible for appraising and evaluating the retail potential of vehicles, which requires being attuned to the resale market both in the area and nationally.
- Assist with determining which aged units are to be disposed of and non-retail units.
- Track acquisition performance metrics and provide regular reporting to management
- Other duties as required by your manager.
All successful applicants must possess the following qualities:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an automotive sales role.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a management role.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation and relationship-building skills.
- Broad product knowledge base and trained in appraising vehicles of all makes.
- Computer skills: MS Office (intermediate).
- Experience with 180 and V-Auto would be an asset.
- Valid VSA license.
