Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Wheel Prepper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing wheels for refinishing. We can provide on the job training as well as institutional training to obtain your automotive painters certificate.

Duties

  • Prepare wheels by cleaning, inspecting, and repairing as necessary.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to perform wheel repair tasks.
  • Assist in lifting wheels and related components (up to a maximum 0f 50 lbs.) during the preparation process.
  • Collaborate with customers and staff to ensure timely completion of wheel repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries related to wheel preparation.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience is preferred, and will be considered an asset.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
  • A background in sales or mechanics is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
