About your role as a Casual On-Call Community Inclusion Worker - Bakery Specialist:
Participates in the organization and implementation of Clements Centre Society's social enterprise, the Mindful Mouthful. Encourages and facilitates individuals' participation in bakery-related activities.

- Demonstrated ability to advocate, provide personalized support, and teach life skills and self-advocacy skills to participants and families
- Knowledge of theory, values, and practices in community living including support systems
- Ability to work effectively with families, staff, volunteers, and organizations
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised, as well as part of a team
- Effective interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated good time and general management skills
- Positive role model, including modeling a healthy lifestyle
Requirements of the job:
- A Community Support Worker Certificate, or equivalent education and experience
- Three months' experience delivering similar services supporting individuals with disabilities in community settings
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid Food Safety Certification
- You will need to have a driver's license, a current and satisfactory criminal record search and driver's abstract, a physician's health reference, a negative TB test
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite, preferred
Additional information:
- This position is open to all qualified individuals and requires Union membership (BCGEU)
- May be required to use personal vehicle
- Successful applicants will be required to obtain a Class 5 driver's license in order to pass the trial period
