Human Resources Intern

The Granite Club is looking for a fixed-term Human Resources Intern who will gain hands-on experience supporting various HR functions such as recruitment, employee engagement and administration. This role will work closely with our HR team to support the day-to-day operations as well as collaborating with cross-functional leaders on strategic HR initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment process including attending job fairs and coordinating the logistics with the colleges,
  • Supporting the preparation for the onboarding and orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Help coordinate employee engagement activities and events.
  • Assist with internal communication channels such as notice boards, newsletters, email communications, etc.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR team.
  • Participate in employee training and development programs.
  • Assist with document management, including maintaining employee records with accuracy.
  • Act as a point of contact and support employee inquiries alongside the HR team.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Canva is considered an asset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Enthusiasm to learn and take on new challenges.
