Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children in an individual and a classroom setting. This role involves teaching French language skills to students, fostering a love for the language, and creating an engaging learning environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles.
  • Teach French language skills including reading, writing, speaking, and listening through interactive activities and lessons.
  • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and provide feedback.
  • Create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of students with special education requirements.
  • Assess student performance regularly and provide tutoring or additional support as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities.
  • Proofread educational materials to ensure accuracy and clarity before distribution.

Qualifications

  • Native French speaker
  • Proven experience working with children in an educational setting is essential.
  • Classroom experience with effective teaching strategies for language acquisition is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey concepts to students of varying abilities.
  • Familiarity with math concepts as they relate to language instruction is a plus.
  • Ability to utilize technology effectively in the classroom, including LMS platforms for tracking student progress.
