Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves performing repairs, diagnostics, and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicles, ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship and excellent service. Experience with dealership procedures, welding, and schematic interpretation will be highly valued. Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs effectively
  • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals to accurately identify problems and solutions
  • Conduct vehicle inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Assist with assembly and disassembly of vehicle components during repairs or upgrades
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs needed and answering customer questions professionally

Experience

  • Prior dealership experience is preferred but not required; relevant mechanic experience is essential
  • Proficiency with automotive repair techniques, including welding, schematics reading, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of repair procedures
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Customer service skills to ensure positive interactions with clients during service visits
