Position overview

As a Senior Full Stack Developer on the Social Affiliate team, you will help build a new social monetization product from the ground up. This stream-aligned team is responsible for integrating Stay22's affiliate infrastructure with social platforms. In this team, we thrive on rapid iteration, experimentation, and creative problem-solving, using real user feedback to guide our direction. You will develop tools that automatically analyze video content, generate and insert affiliate links at scale, and track their performance in real time. Your work will span robust backend pipeline development and intuitive frontend integration within Stay22's products, to seamlessly embed these capabilities. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams - Product, Data, Integrations, Platform and Hub - to ensure our solutions align with product goals and deliver a smooth user experience for content creators.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate with Social Media platform APIs/SDKs to retrieve content and programmatically update it, enabling large-scale affiliate link and related products insertion

• Develop automated backend pipelines using Python on GCP, leveraging our AI stack to work with video content and identify monetization opportunities

• Implement logic to generate Stay22 affiliate links and automatically insert or replace these links in video placements via platform APIs

• Build and refine front-end components in TypeScript within the Stay22 Hub dashboard, allowing partners to link their Social Media platform accounts, view their videos, initiate affiliate link processing, and review performance analytics in an intuitive interface

• Ensure every inserted affiliate link is tracked and its performance (clicks, bookings, purchases) is captured, funnelling this data back into Stay22's analytics so that partners can monitor how their social content is performing

• Work closely with Product managers, Data analysts, Integrations specialists, Platform engineers, and the Hub team to align technical solutions with product goals. You will participate in design sessions and iterative feedback cycles to deliver a cohesive, high-impact social monetization experience across the Stay22 ecosystem.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 6-8+ years of experience in software development, building both backend and frontend systems

• Strong backend development skills, particularly with Python (and familiarity with modern frameworks and cloud platforms like GCP)

• Proficiency in frontend development, especially with TypeScript and modern web frameworks (experience building intuitive UIs and dashboards)

• Proven experience integrating third-party APIs or SDKs; hands-on knowledge of social media platform APIs (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, etc.) is a must

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative, innovative mindset for tackling complex technical challenges

• Comfortable with rapid prototyping, iterative development, and adapting to significant project changes or pivots as needed

• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with product managers and other stakeholders across teams

• Passion for building new products from scratch in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with AI/ML or using LLMs for content analysis is a bonus
