Helping Hands Nanny and Au Pair Services is seeking passionate, reliable, and experienced childcare professionals to join our network. We connect families with qualified caregivers and provide a safe, supportive platform for both providers and families.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a loving family in Sherwood Park, soon to be moving to the Gibbons area for a full-time, live-out nanny.
Position Summary
As a nanny, you will provide attentive and nurturing care in the family's home, ensuring a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for the children. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, organized, and experienced in caring for children.
In addition to childcare, the successful candidate will assist with light housekeeping, light cooking, dishes, driving and laundry.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, personalized childcare
- Support child's daily routines, hygiene, medication and meals
- Support homeschool curriculum
- Engage child in age-appropriate activities and play
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines and updates
- Assist with household tasks, including light housekeeping, cooking, and laundry
- Driving or walking child to and from activities or appointments
- Pets in the home, light pet care on occasion
Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- Current Standard Childcare First Aid with CPR Level B or C
- Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Proven experience caring for children
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, proactive, and able to follow directions
- Receptive to feedback and committed to continuous improvement
- Able to provide recent childcare-related references
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday – 630 am to 400 pm

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
