Warehouse Order Picker

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring Warehouse Order Pickers on a permanent basis for our Supply Chain team. This position is on-site work at our Distribution Centre in Winnipeg, MB .

What you'll do:

• Fill, check and pack orders using a pallet jack and headset system throughout the warehouse, selecting items from floor stock to assemble on pallets, to then be transported to local Co-ops.
• May work in the freezer in below zero temperatures (PPE and premium pay provided).
• Follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Perform repetitive physical work including bending, lifting, and reaching.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean shipping and receiving area.
• Shifts:
• Weekend-day shifts: Saturday, Sunday: 10:00am – 6:30pm
• Weekday-day shifts: Monday - Wednesday: 3:00pm – 11:30pm
• Night shifts: Sunday – Thursday: 9:00pm – 5:30am
• Must be available to complete a full week of training (i.e., Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:00pm)
• Must work a minimum of 24 hours/week but preferably be available to work 40 hours/week.

You will work closely with other warehouse professionals and will report into the Supervisor Warehouse Operations. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, community, and efficiency.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

• Have verbal communication skills, and you are comfortable using a headset.
• Are able to work in the freezer when required.
• Are able to physically lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Are able to perform shift work potentially including evenings and weekends.
• Believe in collaboration, building relationships and value the perspectives of others.

• A starting salary of $19.08 rising to $20.15 after probation with future increases determined by the applicable Collective Agreement.
