Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Designer to lead the design and development of innovative digital products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in UX/UI design, user research, and product development, with expertise in both visual and interaction design. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to create seamless user experiences across web and mobile platforms, utilizing a variety of design tools and methodologies. The Senior Product Designer will play a pivotal role in shaping the user interface and overall product strategy, ensuring accessibility, usability, and aesthetic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for digital products, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into engaging user interfaces.
- Develop detailed wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, Axure, and Zeplin.
- Apply design thinking principles to create intuitive interaction flows and information architecture that enhance user experience.
- Conduct A/B testing and data analysis using tools like Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics to inform design decisions.
- Ensure designs adhere to web accessibility standards and best practices for usability across various devices including mobile applications and web platforms.
- Maintain consistency in visual language by developing and applying design patterns, style guides (CSS/SCSS), and UI components.
- Participate in Agile development cycles (SDLC), providing design support during sprints and user acceptance testing.
- Stay current with industry trends in digital design, motion graphics, data visualization, and emerging technologies such as AR/VR or Unreal Engine when applicable.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles throughout the product lifecycle.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Designer or UX/UI Designer with a strong portfolio demonstrating work on digital products including mobile applications and e-commerce platforms.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD, Axure, InVision, Zeplin, Balsamiq, Omnigraffle, Visio, SharePoint.
- Solid understanding of front-end development languages including HTML, CSS (Less/SCSS), JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular is highly desirable.
- Experience with APIs integration and working within Agile teams utilizing Jira or similar project management tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data from Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics to improve user experience.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices for inclusive design across web and mobile devices.
- Familiarity with SDLC processes including requirements gathering, prototyping, testing (user acceptance testing), and iteration based on feedback.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to technical teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
