We are seeking a dynamic and servant-minded leader to serve as both Product Owner and Scrum Master for one or more agile delivery teams. This unique hybrid role balances product vision and execution discipline—ensuring the team builds the right product in the right way. The ideal candidate brings several years of proven experience with financial products, strong communication skills, business acumen, and agile delivery expertise to guide teams toward delivering high-value outcomes for customers and stakeholders.

As the Scrum Master, you will be expected to:

  • Coach and collaborate with talented, opinionated, experienced professionals who have little agile experience and need help seeing the value of change
  • Take responsibility for the team's delivery effectiveness through coaching, persuasion, and collaboration
  • Enact lasting changes to the client's ways of working
  • Optimize the team's flow and predictability through careful analysis of processes, behaviors, key metrics, and adoption of agile values, principles, and practices
  • Create a psychologically-safe environment where each member of your team is comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns
  • Identify improvement opportunities within the team and outside the team that will enable the organization to run more smoothly and predictably
  • Demonstrate leadership in identifying, managing, and resolving cross-team issues, risks, and dependencies
  • Be the ultimate example of servant leadership
  • Facilitate the standard scrum ceremonies in an expert way that maximizes the value of each session

As the Product Owner, you will be expected to:

  • Help the Product Manager fulfill the vision of the product
  • Collaborate with other Product professionals
  • Quickly gain a working knowledge of the products
  • Create and maintain a healthy, refined, and prioritized backlog of stories
  • Respond quickly and effectively to urgent stakeholder needs

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years working with financial products related to asset management, insurance, or wealth management
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Capable of earning trust and influencing stakeholders without formal authority
  • Proficient with collaboration tools including Atlassian Jira and Confluence, Microsoft Office, and visualization tools such as Figma or Miro
  • Flexible, collaborative, and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously to maintain teamwork and optimal flow
  • Experience coaching, guiding, and promoting agile principles
